Finca La Suiza is owned by Hector Arcadio Zuñiga, a second-generation coffee producer from Acevedo, Huila, Colombia. Hector has been producing coffee for 25 years and works with his wife, daughter, and two sons on the farm. La Suiza is a 44-hectare coffee farm first and foremost; the plantain trees on site are for household consumption only. Like other large farms in the area, Hector and his team do their own processing on-site and utilize both sun and mechanical drying depending on the weather. The end result is a 2,100-bag harvest each year. Hector’s final words sum it all up perfectly,“All of us always working towards the same goal which is to offer you all the best cup. Just taste it.”
